‘I’m a Celeb’ star Chris Moyles set for huge Sheffield DJ set
Legendary radio and TV presenter Chris Moyles will swap the jungle for the Steel City with a special 90s Hangover set next year.
The Yorkshire-born Radio X resident, 48, will be taking to the O2 Academy stage to spin four hours of classic ’90s anthems on 28 May 2023, which is a Bank Holiday Sunday.
Ben Hartley, live promoter at The Leadmill, said: “It’s a real pleasure for us at The Leadmill to be bringing Chris to Sheffield for the first time.
“Having over 2,000 people partying the Bank Holiday away at the O2 Academy is certainly going to end up being one of the highlights of our year.”
This Sheffield date sees Moyles’ first time bringing his ’90s Hangover to the city, with the show having already been played in his hometown of Leeds as well as Manchester Academy and Worcestershire Cricket Club.
This comes after the announcement that Moyles will feature in ITV’s ‘I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here’, starting this Sunday.
He’ll be competing for the jungle crown with the likes of former Health Secretary Matt Hancock, Culture Club frontman Boy George and Lionesses star Jill Scott.
Tickets for the ’90s Hangover night go on sale this Friday (4th November) at 9am from https://leadmill.co.uk/event/chris-moyles-90s-hangover-o2-academy-sheffield/
