A 21-year-old man has been jailed for four years for a number of burglary and criminal damage offences in Sheffield.

Dylan Gibson, 21, of Eastern Avenue, appeared before Sheffield Crown Court on Wednesday 19 October for sentencing.

He pleaded guilty on 22 September to four counts of burglary and six counts of criminal damage at various locations in Sheffield between 3 and 9 July 2022.

PC Katie Gillatt, from Sheffield CID, said: “Gibson is a prolific offender, who committed a large number of offences in less than a week over the summer.

“I am pleased with the sentence handed down by the courts, which means Gibson will be off the streets for a considerable amount of time.”
