WATCH: Do Sheffielders think there should be a general election?
As Rishi Sunak takes office as the third Prime Minister this year, and the fifth Conservative leader since 2010, Steel City Insider asked the public whether they think there should be a general election.
Mr Sunak is the second Prime Minister in a row to have been selected by the Conservative Party, following Liz Truss’ 45 days in power.
Leaders from Labour and the SNP have called for an ‘immediate’ general election, as they say it is undemocratic for the Prime Minister to be appointed in this way for the second time.
