Sheffield stabbing victim dies in hospital
A 26 year old man has died after being left critically injured in a stabbing in Sheffield last week.
Reece Radford was in a critical condition in hospital from injuries sustained in the early hours of 29 September.
Reece sadly died on Tuesday 4 October with the post-mortem concluding that he died as a result of a single stab wound to the chest.
Reports of a stabbing at Arundel Gate were made to police at around 2:28am last Thursday and officers were sent to the scene.
Reece’s family is being provided with support from specially trained officers and have requested that their privacy is protected at this difficult time.
Whilst Reece was in hospital, two men appeared at Sheffield Crown Court on Saturday 1 October.
Dereck Owusu, 36, of Strathmore Grove, Rotherham and Louis James, 46, of Manor Lane, Sheffield were remanded in custody until their next appearance in court.
Senior Investigating Officer, Detective Chief Inspector Rebecca Hodgman, said: “We are still keen to speak to anyone who may have information that could help the investigation.
“If you haven’t already come forward to speak to us, I would urge you to get in touch.”
